THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
When I'm golfing I wear one of those wide-brimmed straw hats.
Last week, I was walking off a green, heading for the golf cart,
and something "tugged" on my hat brim.
I just figured it was a small gust of wind and went on.
After the golf game, when I got to the car, I took the hat off.
As I was laying it beside my clubs in the trunk, I noticed a big
glob of bird droppings on the brim!
I'm sure glad it was DRY!
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are
possible to him that believeth.
Light from the Word.
May I say that the word "believeth" in the above passage means:
GENUINE, COMMITTED TRUST.
Many Christians "believe," but spend far too much time in fear
We need to remember, Jesus said He came to give us LIFE
"more abundantly!" (See John 10:10)
The old devil (and the world) throw a lot of things our way each day.
But, let us CLING TO Jesus and trust in Him to bring GOOD out of bad!
Yes, fears and doubts will still arise.
But we don't have to allow them to linger!
Genuinely commit the whole of your life to Jesus.
James 4:10 says, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,
and he shall lift you up."
Start your day by smiling at yourself in the mirror and saying:
And, when the bird "drops" on your hat, smile as you clean it.
It could have been WORSE!
You coulda been HATLESS!
