THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Three people died: a Doctor a school teacher and the head of a large HMO.
When met at the pearly gates by St. Peter he asked the Doctor, “what did you do on Earth?”
The Doctor replied, “I healed the sick and if they could not pay I would do it for free.”
St. Peter told the Doctor, “you may go in.”
St. Peter then asked the teacher what she did, she replied, “I taught educationally challenged children.”
St. Peter then told her, “you may go in.”
St. Peter asked the third man, “what did you do?”
The man hung his head and replied, “I ran a large HMO.”
To which St. Peter replied, “you may go in, but you can only stay 3 days.”
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.
There are many jokes, like the one above, concerning heaven.
And, there are many erroneous descriptions of heaven.
For the real Christian, heaven is all about being with Christ!
Jesus said, in the above verse, “..That where I am, there ye may be also.”
It is enough to know that the God of creation and the God of salvation shall be there!
The “Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world” shall be there!
The glory of Jesus will be the “Light” of heaven!
Heaven’s glory is JESUS!
All the beauty of heaven shall be eclipsed by our Lord, Jesus!
Nothing that will be there shall attract us more than His PRESENCE!
We will enjoy His glory and closeness forever!
We shall see Him as He is!
And, we shall never lose sight of His Person!
There are many “mansions” (rooms) in heaven, being “prepare(d)” by Jesus.
Is He preparing YOURS?
