W. Paul Jones tells of a woman who shared her memory of
childhood as a polio victim.

"When my mother left me in Sunday School, I always asked
to wear her locket.
She thought I liked the locket.
That wasn't it at all.

I knew I wasn't worth coming back for, but I also knew that she
would come back for that locket!"

Eph 1:6
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us
accepted in the beloved.

LIGHT from the WORD.

Think, Christian, upon those words "MADE us to be ACCEPTED
in the Beloved!"

ACCEPTED by our Holy God in the "Beloved" Jesus!
Sometimes, we Christians tend to think of our acceptance in
relation to our present experience.
When we are doing well, and our hopes are bright, we feel good
about our acceptance.
When we are not doing well, and our hopes are dashed, we
doubt our acceptance.

Isn't it wonderful to know that Christians, born under the blood
of Christ, are ACCEPTED!?
Our feelings of "highs" do not make us MORE accepted.
And, our feelings of "lows" do not make us LESS accepted!

Yes, we are sinners all!
And if we focus upon our sins, we shall certainly feel ashamed
and rejected.

But our focus should be on CHRIST - the "BELOVED!"
He never changes!
His love is always the same.
God has "MADE" it so, and He will never unmake it!

WEAR the blood of Christ upon your heart always!
It exemplifies DIVINE redemption!

And "for the glory of His grace"
He shall surely RETURN for that!

Love ya!
