I had a friend who was 35 and never married.
He came into my office one day and told me that he'd lost all hope of getting married.
I asked him what happened.

He said, "Well, I sent my picture off to one of those internet dating services. A week later, they sent my picture back."

I told him, "Oh. You'll find the right gal one day."

He said, "But I thought I had. I dated this one girl several times. Finally, I told her I thought marriage might be in the picture for us. She told me I had the wrong camera."

Isa 26:4
Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

Hope is bound within trust.

For instance, someone is leaving our home, and they say, "I'll see you tomorrow."
And we answer them, "I hope so."

The reason we answer that way, as Christians, is because we have hope to do those things we want to do, only as we have trust in God to give us the day.

We hope to complete our plans tomorrow.
Even though we do not know that we shall have tomorrow.
And we trust that God will give us that day.
Even if he doesn't, our hope is in HIM, not tomorrow.

We know that God alone holds the plans of the future in His hands.
The apostle James said, " ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." (James 4:15)

Isaiah says we should trust in the Lord "forever."
How long is forever?
It begins now and continues without stopping.

When is forever?
It is in the happy times and the sad times.
It is in the wonderful times and the difficult times.
It is in all seasons, and in every moment.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could cast all doubt aside? YES!
However, we are humans, and ole "Unbelief" is as real a warrior against us today as he was yesterday.
But Trust is the weapon which conquers unbelief!

Our God is strength!
He owns it. He possesses it.
And He gives it.
God grants us His strength as we trust in Him.

"Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength!"

Love ya!
