THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a painkiller.
She tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle.
Seeing her frustration, her Mom explained it was a childproof cap and she'd have to open it for her.
Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: "How does it know it's me?"
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
No, I do not know how God knows all the words that I speak.
I do not comprehend how He knows all the thoughts of my mind.
I cannot understand how He knows all my past and all my future.
That knowledge is to “high” for me, I cannot reach it!
Neither can I understand how God’s Spirit encompasses all the world and all people.
His “presence” among us is “wonderful” – remarkable!
He is the omniscient – all knowing God.
He is the omnipresent God – present in all places.
And, perhaps you, my friend cannot understand how He is the omnipotent, all powerful, God.
But, He IS!
He created all things with the words of His mouth. (Gen. 1:1-4, John 1:1-4, Heb. 1:1-3)
He is the One Who came into the world in the Person of Jesus, and willingly died to pay Himself a JUST price for your sin.
He is the One Who is coming back (soon I believe) and will judge all mankind for their eternal destiny.
He is also the One Who is calling to your heart today to trust Him, surrender to Him, and know His peace.
The question is:
Have you placed this all-knowing, all-present, all-powerful God in charge of YOUR life?
