"How Do YOU Spell REGENERATED"
The teacher was quizzing her 4th-grade students
on spelling for the week.
She asked, "John, how do you spell crocodile?"
John answered, "K R O K O D I L."
The teacher said, "Now, John, that's wrong."
John said, "It may be wrong to you, but you asked
how I spell it!"

1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those
things which are above, where Christ sitteth
on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on
things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with
Christ in God.

Jesus told Nicodemus,"Ye MUST be BORN AGAIN!"
(John 3:7)
We are created by God for being RECREATED!
That's because we are sinners and lost the
PURPOSE of our creation.
The REGENERATION of man can only come when he
meets Christ in repentance and surrenders to His
will.
From then on, the FOCUS (affection) of the
regenerated person is "on things above."
That's because the regenerated life is "HID with
Christ in God."
Yes, we still exist in this world, and have our
families, friends and jobs to attend our physical
needs.
But our LIVELIHOOD is "in Christ."
When a person is regenerated, his/her FOCUS
is CHANGED!
The mindset and spiritual attitude is toward
the Lord Jesus MORE than it is the physical
things of the world.
The regenerated person WAS "dead in trespasses
and sins." (Eph. 2:1).
But, having surrendered to Christ, he/she is made
"a new creature!" (2Cor. 5:17)
The FOCUS becomes SPIRITUAL - HIGHER than
the physical.
