THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
All God's plans have the mark of the cross on them,
and all His plans have death to self in them.
--E. M Bounds
I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.
LIGHT from the WORD.
The fruit of a tree comes from the branch,
yet the strength of the branch comes from the tree,
and the tree provides the inner working sap which gives
the branch strength.
Jesus is the Tree Who provides the inner workings of God’s
Holy Spirit in Christians, and
Christians are the branches which provide fruit.
But without the inner working of God's Spirit, the Christian can
do nothing to provide the fruit!
ABIDING means to STAY WITH, CONTINUE.
Abiding in Jesus, we are given power to provide “MUCH fruit!”
WITHOUT Him, we can do nothing!
In order to produce the fruit of a right testimony FOR Christ,
we must stay with and continue WITH Christ in our daily lives.
daily Bible study,
and, fellowship with other Christians to hold us accountable.
How well are you abiding in Christ?
