DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"IMPERFECT"

One of the first prayers children learn
is: "God is great God is good, let us
thank Him for our food."

Mom had taught that to her daughter.

So, at Sunday dinner, she asked her
daughter to ask God to bless the food.

Nervously, she said, "God is great
God is good, roll him up and throw
him in the pan!"

Ooops! Mom had also taught her
the "patty-cake" poem.

Ps 56:8
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my
tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy
book?
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

As a young man, David had faced many
difficulties.
He took food to Saul's army and had
kiled Goliath.
Then, Saul was angry with him because the
people talked more about David than
they talked about Saul.
So, Saul had driven David away.
And, now, he was living in the wilderness.
He was constantly hunted by Saul's men.

In the prayer above, David felt imperfect.

Then, David came to know:
* God "told" David's wanderings,
* God put his "tears" in a bottle to remember
David's crying,
* God wrote David's problems in a "book."

A Christian:
* Goes nowhere that God is not WITH him,
* Faces no adversity without God's strength
being available,
* Has no sorrow unaccompanied by God's
love.

Your prayers may be IMPERFECT, but
remember, God's love is PERFECT!

Love ya!
