A Bill and his Sue were visiting with Tom and Jane.
Jane stated she and Tom had been to marriage counseling.

Sue said, “Oh, we’ll never need that!
Bill graduated college in business communication,
and I graduated in fine arts.
When he talks, I ACT LIKE I’m listening!”

Col 2:6
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

LIGHT from the WORD.

Paul says having “received Christ Jesus,” we should “walk” in Him.

Walking implies ACTION!
It means to live our lives, daily WITH Christ in our hearts,
while we are IN this world.

We are not to hide our Christianity “under a bushel;” (Matt. 5:15).
We are to put our faith into ACTION in our daily lives!

Walking also implies PROGRESS!
Sanctification, caused by God's Holy Spirit IN us, includes growing
to be more like Christ.

Walking also implies CONTINUING!
Saying we are going to walk a mile does not mean to stop at 200 feet!

The term Paul uses above, “walk in Him,”
includes a present perfect verb use.
It means now, and ALWAYS, as long as we live here on earth!

How’s your “walk in Him?”
If you are WITH Him, and HEARING Him,
ACT like it!

Love ya!
