The president went to visit a nursing home.

He walked up to a lady in a wheel chair and tried to be polite,
but found that he wasn't being very successful in carrying
on a conversation with her.

Finally, in desperation he said,
"Ma'am, do you know who I am?"

She answered, "No sir, I don't know who you are--
but if you go up to that desk they can tell you."

Psalm 92:13-15
13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall
flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be
fat and flourishing;
15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock,
and there is no unrighteousness in him.

LIGHT from the WORD.

We all want to establish relationships with others.
And, sometimes that can be difficult depending upon
the circumstances.

But our PRIMARY relationship should be with Jesus!
This is the most IMPORTANT relationship we can have!

By making Jesus our PRIMARY relationship we are assured
of being "planted in the house of the LORD!"

To establish and maintain ANY relationship requires EFFORT!
Our effort in the relationship with our Lord Jesus requires
daily prayer and Bible study.
And these produce RESULTS.

Daily prayer
helps us “flourish” in His presence.
It awakens us to our NEED of His closeness.
And, it makes us AWARE that we can be in personal
contact with Him at ANY time!

Daily Bible study
helps us “bring forth fruit in old age.”
Studying the Bible alerts us to GENUINE TRUTH.
Learning its contents helps us to live in the will of God.

This daily relationship, through prayer and Bible study helps us
to live our lives so that we "shew that the LORD is upright."
Living with Christ as our PRIMARY relationship causes us to
exhibit His love IN and THROUGH us.

When Christ is your PRIMARY relationship, He becomes
the "Rock" of life upon which you stand.

Are you making Jesus your PRIMARY relationship?

Love ya!
