The teacher in math class was having trouble getting the boys
to understand decimals.
She went home, thinking about HOW she could make them understand.

Next morning, she had a PLAN!

She introduced the following example:
"If Mickey Mantel went to bat 20 times and got 7 hits, what was
his batting average?"

One boy shouted, ".350!"

And, now they ALL got it!

Prov 16:33
The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.

LIGHT from the WORD.

The word "lot" above is taken from the Hebrew gowral,
pronounced go - rawl'.
The use of the lot figuratively determined the outcome of circumstances.

For instance in Joshua 7:12-18, the army had lost a battle.
People wanted to know why.
God told them someone had taken an "accursed" thing in the spoils
of war, even though they had been told NOT to do so.

The "lot" was cast, a tribe was chosen, then a family, then Achan
was chosen out of that family.
He confessed that he had taken something.

It's just a small thing!
But the "lot" was placed under the guidance of the LORD!
And, the "lot" determined a LARGER thing!!

Our Holy God put the stars in place and holds the universe by His omnipotence
and omniscience.
He certainly knows the affairs of our lives!

God is ABLE!!!
We must just put ALL things under HIS control.

When we do that, spiritual calm from His Holy presence engulfs our soul.
If we'll just get the DECIMALS right, God will take care of the WHOLE.

Put the LOT of your life in JESUS'S hands, and let HIM take care of the WHOLE!!

Anxiety is the companion of the devil!!
It will only allow us to pray and act ineffectively!!

That THIS day you will get the LITTLE things right, and
God will take care of the BIG things!!
Matt 25:21
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant:
thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over
many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Is YOUR "lot" secure in the LAP of the LORD?

Love ya!
