DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"JUSTIFIED to RESTORE RELATIONSHIP"

HI!

"Trust wholly in Christ; rely altogether on His
sufferings; beware of seeking to be justified
in any other way than by His righteousness.
Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient for
salvation. There must be atonement made for
sin according to the righteousness of God.
The person to make this atonement must be
God and man."
(John Wycliffe)

_______SCRIPTURE____________

Rom. 3:24-26
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the
redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation
through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are
past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:
that he might be just, and the justifier of him which
believeth in Jesus.
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

Justified (Greek - dikaioo) is a verb used to
mean declare one righteous.

That word is used in the continual present mode,
and literally means that God (through Jesus)
declares a believer in Christ justified as a son.

This allows a true believer to come before God
without condemnation and keep a right
relationship with Him.

Jesus, on the cross, paid the price for our sins.
He is perfectly just then to forgive and
cleanse.

This is an act of God on behalf of the believer.
It is not based on how good a person is, but
upon WHO Jesus is!

Now, if you are a truly repentant saved sinner,
then REALIZE what Christ has done for you.
You are God's CHILD through your surrender
to Jesus as Lord of your life.

Our sins do not take away our SONSHIP!
But they DO strain our RELATIONSHIP!

Therefore, come to God DAILY and confess
sins, and seek forgiveness.
It is already THERE, but we must come to
God and ASK!

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness."
(1John 1:9)

Christians are not SINLESS!
But we should sin LESS!

And, praise God, He has provided a manner
in which we can RESTORE our relationship!

Love ya!
