DAILY DEVOTION

HI!

While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school,
I was interrupted by a little girl about 6 years old.
Looking up and down at my uniform, she asked, "Are you a cop?"

"Yes," I answered and continued writing the report.

"My mother said if I ever needed help I should ask the police.
Is that right?"
"Yes, that's right," I told her.

"Well, then," she said as she extended her foot toward me,
"would you please tie my shoe?"

1 Tim 4:10
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach,
because we trust in the living God,
who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

THOUGHT________________________________

LIGHT from the WORD.

I pray that all of us realize, that no matter who we are,
we should never be too busy to stop and help a child!

As children of God, through Jesus Christ, WE need help
many times in our lives.
That's because, as we labor for our Lord, we DO
"suffer reproach."

But we serve "the LIVING God, Who is the Savior of
ALL men, SPECIALLY of those that believe!"

First, He is the LIVING Savior for ALL men.
He died for this purpose: to offer ALL mankind forgiveness,
and the acceptance of God.

Second, He is the LIVING Savior ESPECIALLY for those
who believe and are committed to Him.
Jesus is ACTIVELY working on the behalf of Christians!

Yes. Living as a Christian will often bring difficult times,
and the reproach of others.
Often, the principles of truth by which we live, are
MOCKED and SCORNED by others.

Yet, we have a LIVING Savior, Who ALWAYS is working
for our behalf!!

Jesus is NEVER too busy to stop and help you!

Love ya!
