Today's Devotion:
"Just a CRUMB"
It was a cold winter day, and the teacher
was helping a kindergarten student put
on her boots.
They struggled, and finally got them on,
and, the little girl said, "These aren't mine!"
The teacher prayed for grace, and took
the boots off.
The little girl said, "They are my brother's
boots, Mom made me wear them."
So, back to the struggle of putting on
the boots!
After getting them on, teacher asked,
"Where are your gloves?"
Little girl said, "I stuffed them in my boots!"

Matt. 15:22-28
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out
of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying,
Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David;
my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his
disciples came and besought him, saying, Send
her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but
unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying,
Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to
take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat
of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O
woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as
thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from
that very hour.

_______THOUGHT______________
Have you ever felt like you just needed one
little CRUMB of grace?
The woman in our scripture knew her daughter
was near death.
She came to Jesus crying out, calling Him
correctly: "Lord, thou son of David!"
Yet Jesus TESTED her faith!
He tested her faith THREE times!
To her, the need was GREAT;
To Jesus, it was JUST A CRUMB!
Faith may be tested.
But the crumbs will fall!!
Sometimes we need to remind ourselves how
GREAT is our Lord!
"God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart"
