THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Management, at the soap factory, was investigating a complaint
that a consumer had bought a soap box that was empty.

After an expensive study, the problem was isolated to the assembly line.
Somehow one soap box went through the assembly line empty.
Management asked engineers to solve the problem.

¯The engineers devised an expensive X-ray machine with high-resolution monitors,
manned by two people, to watch all the soap boxes passing through the line
to make sure they were not empty.

Eventually, the expensive X-ray machine was discarded.

It was found that a long serving and lowly ranked practical employee devised a much simpler solution.
He pointed an industrial electric fan at the assembly line.
As the soap boxes passed the fan it blew the empty boxes out of the line!¯

THOUGHT____________________________________

Living the life of a Christian is not hard; it is simple!

Remember, grace brought you to salvation.
The grace of God exposed your sin and convinced you to surrender to Jesus for forgiveness.

When you surrendered to Christ, faith was given by the entrance of His Holy Spirit. (Eph. 1:13)

Therefore, it is "by grace" you are saved, and
"through faith" you continue in God's way. (Eph. 2:8-9)

Grace is the channel through which God offers His eternal salvation to all men. (John 3:16, Rom. 10:13)
Faith is the working agent in you, given by God, so you may continue in His truth. (Philippians 2:13)

But God's grace doesn't stop there!
Your faith is continually fueled by unending and in exhaustive grace!
Heb 4:16 says, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

Faith is your working agent in salvation.
It is fueled by come "boldly" and OFTEN to "the throne of grace!"

Keep it simple!
Save yourself a lot of stress!

Don't come to God only in times of need;
Come OFTEN, and ask Him to be ALL you need!

Love ya!
