You know you're a cross-country runner if you
run further in a week than you travel to track meets!
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:
knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed
abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
LIGHT from the WORD.
Running cross-country (3 to 5mi. runs) is like training for life.
Each day, one must run to build stamina.
Each meet, one must use the stamina and strive to win.
It's true what coaches tell you: "No pain, no gain!"
Learning how to live with and through pain strengthens us!
Life is not a 100yd dash; it is a MARATHON!
Paul knew the value of "patience, experience, ....hope..."
One only gains those by working with and through difficulties!
We Christians have a great consolation when suffering.
REMEMBER: He is WITH you through every step!!
AND, He'll be waiting at the finish line!!
