THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
My dad was the only golf coach I ever had.
He told me an odd thing once.
When swinging with an iron or a wood, focus on the
BACK of the ball.
But when putting, focus on the FRONT of the ball.
When you're trying to get TO the green, you focus on
the back of the ball.
This causes you to hit down on it, making it fly.
But when putting, you are ON the green and trying to
put the ball in the hole.
And the focus on the front of the ball causes you to
swing UP on it -- making it roll true.
2 Cor 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the
things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are
temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were
dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made
with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Light from the Word.
On our journey through this life, we must look at and see things
in this world.
However, our FOCUS should be on when we LEAVE this world.
Having that focus, causes us to live in HOPE, and not
Let's just face it.
Life (on this earth) is NOT fair.
But if we remember that our GOAL is eternity with Jesus,
we'll always see things in a brighter perspective.
Today, we live in a world where accidents happen,
sadness occurs, trouble is all around us.
But, our FOCUS should be on eternal light without darkness
in a glorious place where there is no sin -
therefore, no crying or dying!
KEEP YOUR FOCUS!
