DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

What precious thought, He is risen, and
my Lord doth give;
That in His Holy love and power
my soul may live.

Life indeed has many twists and turns.
Sometimes, it seems, the ground is rocky and all uphill.
But, when our focus is upon Jesus, we are concerned with the GOAL, and not the trouble!

Looking at the turbulence in the world, we sometimes become dizzy.
If we LOOK UP to our Lord, He will help us regain balance!

Christ took the "shame" of our sins, and "endured the cross." (Heb. 12:2 above)
He was resurrected for our justification. (Rom. 4:25)
And, having ascended, is now "at the right hand of the throne of God." (Heb. 12:2 above)

Jesus knew that we are sinners, and has provided us help to continue looking unto Him.
He has sent God's Holy Ghost into the hearts of all who surrender to Him as Lord!
(John 14:26 above)

The very presence of God is with us!
He sustains, calls us to study the Bible, and teaches us as we do.
Then, He calls us to testify for Christ. (John 15:26-27)

When your ground is rocky and all uphill;
when the turbulence in the world makes you dizzy;
KEEP "Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith!" (Heb. 12:2 above)

He WILL give us room to sit with Him on His throne. (Rev. 3:21)
He HAS given us His Holy Spirit to teach and guide us. (Eph. 1:13)

And today, He IS CALLING us to be "witnesses" of Him to the world. (Acts 1:8)

Keep LOOKING so you may keep DOING!

Love ya!
