DAILY DEVOTION

HI!

When the world is in chaos around you, remember to STUDY
the Word of God.
It will bring clarity for right thinking and acting.

SCRIPTURE______________________________

2 Tim 3:14-17
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and
hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,
which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith
which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished
unto all good works.

THOUGHT________________________________

LIGHT from the WORD.

Have you ever heard the saying, "An apple a day keeps the
doctor away?"
Well, daily study of the Word of God will keep your minds
and hearts clear to have right thinking and action.

In our Scripture today, Paul tells Timothy "knowing of
whom thou hast learned them."

We learn truth from God when we study His Word.

That's because the Word of God is given by INSPIRATION!
See verse 16 above.
The Greek word is theopneustos.
It means to BREATHED INTO.

God breathed into the men who WROTE the Bible what HE
wanted them to say.
And God will breath into those who STUDY the Bible what
HE wants them to hear!

The Word of God is "profitable" because it:
* teaches God's "doctrine", or truthful teaching,
* brings "reproof" to our hearts for sin,
* leads to "correction" of wrong actions,
* gives "instruction in righteousness"!

It is by God's breath that we have physical life.

It is by God breathing into us His Word that we have
spiritual life!

The Word of God each day,
will keep wrong thinking and action away.

Love ya!
