LIGHT from the WORD.

Christians, how often do we think about the fact that Jesus is
WITH us at ALL times!
His PRESENCE is IN us at all times!

When I was 8 or 9, Dad took me squirrel hunting about
35 miles away from our home woods.
It was the first time I had hunted in unfamiliar woods.

We walked down an old log road, and then down a
small path.
Dad sat me down on a stump and told me to watch
for squirrels.
He also told me to remember how we got there, and
to go back to the car when I was finished hunting.
And, if I got lost, just to call out his name.
He would be close.

I sat there for what seemed a long time for a young boy.
I had killed 2 squirrels.
So I started for the car.
But, it seemed there were MANY paths!
I began to feel I had lost the direction.

I called out "BURT!"
NOTHING!
I called again "BURT!"

He stepped out from a tree and said, "I'm here."
Woooo...sudden FEAR realizing he was so CLOSE!
But it sure was COMFORTING to know he was there.

God's PRESENCE is like that.
It's a little fearful to know He's so CLOSE!
But it sure is comforting to know He's there!

Ps 86:5
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Remember, the next time you:
face difficulty, face temptation, feel sorrow,
He is CLOSE!
He is as close as calling out His Name!

And, it is in His closeness that He gives us
ANSWERS!

Don't let fears and anxiety suffocate your
realization of His presence!

Live today KNOWING His presence and
CALLING upon Him for help!

Living in His presence will keep you UPRIGHT!

Love ya!
