Today's Devotion:
"LEARNING CONTENTMENT"

The greatest thing about life is that it
is DIFFERENT each day.

Phil 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned,
in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

Someone once said, "The ups and downs of life
bring smiles and frowns."

Paul, in the Scripture above, said he had "learned"
"to be content."

We EXPECT the weather to be DIFFERENT each
day.
We EXPECT times of peace and trial.
In both physical differences and spiritual differences
we can LEARN to be "CONTENT."

Learning in school is TAUGHT.
Learning in life is CAUGHT.

Sometimes a program on my computer will display
the following statement:
"There was a virtual error."
At that point, I know to REBOOT, or turn off the
computer and restart it.
There's no use in being upset about it; just DO
what will make a DIFFERENCE!

Romans 8:28 says, "And we KNOW that all things
work together for GOOD to them that LOVE God,
to them who are called according to HIS purpose."

It cannot be said that all things work together for good
to all people.
But, it can be said that all things work together for
good "TO them that LOVE God!"

REGARDLESS of what DIFFERENCES today brings;
LOVING God daily is the key to learning contentment!
