THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Well, here it is late August again - when millions of kids go back to school.
A time of year when kids start to learn again.
And, a time when mothers start to live again.
Mothers understand why, when God created man, He needed a Sabbath!
But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Thank God for His "compassion!"
He saw me in slavery to sin and called me to His great salvation!
Had He not shown me His cross, I would never have known His love.
Thank God for being so "gracious!"
Though I am unworthy, He continues to pour out grace each day!
The riches of His grace are unsearchable.
Thank God He is "longsuffering!"
I'm sure my soul tests His patience each day!!
Like a father holding a child's hand, he keeps me on the correct path.
Thank God for His "mercy!"
He is "the Father of mercies." (2Cor. 1:3)
And, I am daily the beneficiary of His loving-kindness.
And, Thank God for His "truth!"
His Word stands iron-clad in an everchanging world.
His Word is the revelation of Himself!
Through study of His Word, I understand:
"But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth."
