Pastor Clifford S. Stewart of Louisville, KY, sent his parents a microwave for Christmas.
They couldn't make it work.
He talked to them on the phone, and told them about the directions packet inside the shipping box.
He sent them letters.
Still, they couldn't get it to work.

Finally, he drove the 700 miles to where they lived, and showed them how to operate the microwave.
While he was there, a next door neighbor came in and asked about the new microwave.
Mom spoke up, "Oh, yes! We just needed our SON to come and show us how it works!"

Matt 4:19
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

The truth is, most Christians don't know a whole lot about leading someone to Jesus.

Christ said, "Follow me...."
That is the way to learn!

Follow Him in commitment.
Be focused on HIS work in the world.

Follow Him in prayer.
Jesus daily went aside to pray. (Matt. 15:23, Mk. 6:46, Lk. 6:12)
And He taught " ought always to pray, and not to faint." (Lk. 18:1)

Daily set aside time for prayer.
Then be prayerfully thinking during the day.

Follow Him in Bible study.
The Bible teaches us to study, learning how to use it properly.
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
(2 Tim 2:15)

Determine to learn what our Lord says, and
you'll desire to do what our Lord wants.

Follow Him in mission.
Once Jesus was on His way to Galilee.
But the Bible says, "..He must needs go through Samaria." (John 4:4)
Jews avoided Samaria.
Why would Jesus go?
Because He wanted to lead "the woman at the well" to salvation.

Look for someone you know with the intent of telling them about Jesus.
Be a "witness" of what He's done in your life. (Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)

And remember, you have His Holy Spirit presence!
John 14:26 says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

If you have salvation through the Son of God, then
He has already shown you how to use it.

Love ya!
