"LEAVING and INHERITANCE"
May we endeavor to live so that
those who come behind will find
us FAITHFUL!

2 Cor 12:14
Behold, the third time I am ready to
come to you; and I will not be
burdensome to you: for I seek not
yours, but you:
for the children ought not to lay up
for the parents, but the parents for
the children.

_______THOUGHT_________
In the Scripture above, Paul wrote
a principle which most people strive
to perform - "LAY UP"
for the children.
However, if we read on, we find
that principle to be often
misunderstood!
Did Paul leave the people of the
church a monetary or physical
inheritance?
No, he left character, integrity, honesty,
kindness, self-discipline, respect for
others, respect for God, and other
traits which are just as, or more
valuable.
We all can work to leave tangible
things for our children.
More importantly, we can leave a
genuine respect for the Word of God,
and for God Himself Who is revealed
in the Person of Jesus Christ!
Had those two "inheritance"
factors not been left by our forefathers
in this great nation, it would not yet be
standing today!
Family IS IMPORTANT!
Leave an inheritance which is
valuable not only for today; but
ESSENTIAL for eternity!
