THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Yesterday I became "lost in thought."
Of course that was unfamiliar territory.
But I realized something.
The cost of living is constantly going UP.
Despite that, living remains very popular.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Most people take their careers too seriously.
We should envelop our careers into our lives.
Although we certainly must "work to eat," work is not all of life.
After all, the purpose of work is to retire and enjoy life.
Why not enjoy life while working?
The purpose of Paul's statement above is to show that our life, as a Christian,
is to live FOR Christ.
Should we not plan all of our life around that goal?
The retirement benefits of working for Christ are, well, "out of this world!"
