Ole Jim was a Christian truck driver.
He worked with his own truck and
might receive a call to be "dispatched"
at any time.
He had a special bag, sitting by the
door.
I asked about that bag.
In it were: a Bible, two changes of
clothes, bathroom supplies and some
pictures of his wife and son.
He said, "I'm always prayed up,
packed up and ready to go."

Life, on this earth IS:
BRIEF and UNCERTAIN.
We never know when we might stand
before the open "death door."
There is nothing to "pack up" because
the Bible says, "..Naked came I out of
my my mother's womb, and naked shall
I return...." (Job 1:21)
One does not need clothes to leave
this world.
God has already promised to cover those
who trust in Christ with "the robe of
righteousness." (Is. 61:10)
A question to ponder:
Are you READY, IF
"...the time of my departure is at hand?"
(2Tim. 4:6)
Are you trusting Christ to DELIVER you,
and are you "prayed up?"
