"LISTENING with your EYES"
An elderly lady came to the car lot
driving an old Cadillac.
When the salesman saw her, he went
immediately to her.
The lady said she wanted to buy a new
car; and it needed to be well built and
long-lasting.
He took her by the arm and led her to
a shiny new Cadillac.
He started telling her all about the car
as he opened the hood, the doors.
She said, "Young man, LOOK at me
when you talk. I'm deaf and I HEAR
with my EYES!"

Prov 8:1-6
1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding
put forth her voice?
2 She standeth in the top of high places, by
the way in the places of the paths.
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the
city, at the coming in at the doors.
4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to
the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools,
be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and
the opening of my lips shall be right things.

You can HEAR God with your EYES!!
He is CONSTANTLY calling for us to LISTEN.
Too often, we listen to the WORLD, instead
of the WORD!
The Word of God is WORTH
hearing/reading/studying/learning!
In the Word of God we find:
His PERSONALITY,
His HEART, and
His PURPOSE for us.
To be sinful, all a person need to do is:
LISTEN to the world,
Desire to be LIKE the world, and
Be willing to PARTICIPATE in worldy things.
To be like Christ, we should do the same
things, but with different FOCUS:
LISTEN to His Word,
Desire to be like HIM, and
Be willing to PARTICIPATE in what He
teaches.
And, God gives us a FREE hearing aid!
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
Whom the Father will send in my name,
HE shall teach you all things, and bring
all things to remembrance, whatsoever I
have said unto you." (John 14:26)
WISDOM is calling!
