In Psalm 100:4, the Scripture says:
"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His
courts with praise! Give thanks to Him;
bless His Name!"
Prayer becomes an attitude when we are
reminded of Christ's cancellation of our
sin-debt to God!
Thanksgiving also becomes an attitude when
we consider all Christ suffered that which we
SHOULD have suffered!
As we meditate on God's Word, we realize
that ALL things which come to us can be things
for which we should be thankful!
Some things happen to us because of our
own sin.
Some things happen to us because of others'
sin.
Some things happen to us just because there
is sin in the world.
Those things teach us lessons.
But what about all the GOOD things that happen
to us?
If we LIVE IN THANKSGIVING to God, then ALL
the bad things are diminished by our giving of
thanks to Him for all the GOOD He does for us!
