There was a Christian lady whose business required a lot of
But flying made her nervouse.
So she carried her Bible with her to read.

On one such trip, a man was seated beside her.
He said, "You don't really believe all that stuff in there do you?"
She, "Yes. The Bible is true and accurate."

He, "What about Jonah being swallowed by a whale?"
She, "Yes, it's true."
He, "How did he survive inside that whale?"
She, "I don't know. When I get to heaven I'll ask."
He, "What if he isn't IN heaven?"
She, "Then YOU can ask him!"

Matt 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

LIGHT from the WORD.

"Blessed are the pure in heart."

Let's establish one thing at the beginning here:
NOONE is PURE! (See Jer. 17:9 and Rom. 3:23)

Christians are forgiven, washed in Christ's blood and sealed
in His Holy Spirit; but, they are still sinners!

Therefore, "Pure in heart" does not mean sinless.
"Pure in heart" is a motif of life - a constantly reappearing theme.

Those who have surrendered their lives to Christ desire to learn
more about Him, and live according to His will.
They put Christ in the CENTER of their lives and plan all things
around HIM!

"They shall see God!"
TODAY -- they see God through eyes of faith.
And, seek to please Him in all they do.
FOREVER -- they shall see God in glory!
For, they shall be WITH Him!

Do YOU live your life by the motif "Pure in heart?"

Love ya!
