THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Each day this world brings to us pain, sorrow and even fear.
However, Jesus brings comfort for the pain, joy in the sorrow, and courage to face fears.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Christians sometimes see others who seemingly live without discomfort.
Perhaps then, we begin to “covet” what others have.
But let us be “content” with what we have.
For we have the PRESENCE of Jesus by His Holy Spirit.
He has promised: “I will NEVER leave thee...”
Today, as you are living life, think about the following.
The pain this world brings is comforted by His presence.
Even in the sorrows we face, we have the joy of His closeness.
And, the fears we face are assuaged by knowing “The LORD is my Helper!”
And, what shall “man to unto me?”
Shall he bring death?
But through death’s door, we shall see the face of Jesus!
Truly, our “conversation” (or living) should be without “covetousness” of others.
For Christians have the greatest treasure: JESUS!
