THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Call me “brother” if you will,
Call me “preacher”, better still,
Or “pastor” if you will,
Even “minister” fits the bill,
To my name there’s no append,
No “doctor” is at the end,
And how my heart does rend,
When one blithely calls me “reverend.”
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
The worth of the worship and honor to Christ is not in a name; but is in the LIVING!
Many who hold to the Name, live exhibiting spiritual adultery.
Many hold the principles of Christ when it suits them;
but abandon those principles when it does not.
All too often, SELF is our greatest idol!
And, too often, we bend toward the pleasing of that idol!
Only when we live TO Christ can death be GAIN!
Is Christ at the forefront of your family?
Is He at the forefront of your business?
Is the purpose, aim and end of Christ demonstrated in your LIVING?
Remember, Jesus said, “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” (Matt. 12:30)
May we who hold the Name of Christ, exhibit Him in ALL our LIVING!
