THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Some years ago, as part of a project for a psychology class, I was visiting an insane asylum.
I asked the director how it was determined if a patient should be institutionalized.
He said, "We fill up a bathtub and offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket. Then we ask the patient to empty the bathtub."
I said, "Oh. I understand. The normal person would use the bucket."
He said, "No sir. The normal person would just pull the plug in the bathtub.
Do you want a bed with a window view?"
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Sometimes, the day may bring enough problems that ya just wanna pull your hair out and run around in circles!
Today, may be that kind of day for you.
If it is: Remember to WHOM you should run!
When troubles surround you, do not flee.
Run to Jesus!
God's promise is: "I will NEVER leave thee, nor forsake thee!"
We are to live each day, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" (Heb 12:2)
