THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Joe was a multi-tasking realtor.
He used his mobile phone and worked from anywhere.
One day he was fishing, while talking to a customer.
Suddenly the reel on the rod began rolling out!
He said, “Hold on Paul! I have a call on another line.”
14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall
strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the LORD.
Light from the Word.
We live in an “instant” society.
Fast food, drive-in auto service and Google search for information.
We are an impatient people.
And, one of the hardest lessons to learn is: “WAIT on the Lord!”
When things aren’t going just like we think they should, we tend
to drift toward self and not toward our gracious Lord.
OR, we become impatient with our Lord.
When you are facing a struggle, and you find God is not quite
ready to give you an answer --
Learn that your struggle is easier when you are in constant
contact with the One Who can give you “perfect peace!”
Learn that your service in and for the Lord cannot be
neglected simply because you are facing difficulties.
”WAIT, I say, on the LORD!”
