THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
With faith, conflict leads to conquest!
1 Peter 1:5
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation
ready to be revealed in the last time.
The word "faith" comes from the Greek noun pistis, meaning
persuasion, assurance and fidelity.
Used in the context of what Peter wrote above, it communicates
reliance upon Christ for salvation and salvation's continuance.
All of us have conflict of faith every day.
We are tempted, and often we fail.
But, if we truly have been crucified with Christ (Gal. 2:20),
we are "sealed" in God's Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13).
And, God's Spirit is working in us so that we desire to do those things
which please God (Philippians 2:13).
The "power of God through faith" IS able to keep the Christian
in conflict and bring him/her to conquest!
Daily we face conflict!!
Let us remember our crucifixion with Christ, and rely upon the power of
HIS faith within us to enter the corridor of conquest!
