"Let HUNGER and THIRST DRIVE You"
HI!
I remember when I would HINTto Mom that
we should have some ice-cream.
She would mix all the ingredients and put
them in the gallon container.
But guess who had to turn the crank on the
freezer!!

Matt. 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst
after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

_______THOUGHT______________
In order to DESIRE something, we must first
realize we do not have it.
When you have hunger or thirst physically, you
try to find food and water.
When God's Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, we
DESIRE to be CLEANSED.
That desire DRIVES us to seek God's
FORGIVENESS.
Ps. 51:10 says, "Create in me a clean heart,
O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
God ALWAYS answers a truly repentant
sinner with His forgiveness.
And then, the life of that forgiven sinner is
TOTALLY CHANGED!
2Cor. 5:17 says, "Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all thing are become
new."
God grants, through Christ's sacrifice, not
only forgiveness, but NEW DESIRES!
A truly born again Christian will realize a
DESIRE (like hunger and thirst) for living
in RIGHTEOUSNESS - being right with God.
In today's world, if we have hunger or thirst,
we just drive to a restaurant (provided we
have money).
Spiritually speaking, when we hunger or
thirst, we drive ourselves to be more like
Christ every day (provided we have given
our lives to Christ).
