and sang praises unto God: and the
prisoners heard them.

_______THOUGHT______________
Paul and Silas were in prison.
The judges had determined they were what
we call INSURRECTIONISTS.
AND, the judges had beat them; then had
them put in the deepest part of the prison.
But when the difficulties of life had imprisoned
them, they let faith echo from the walls with
singing and praises to God!
ALL of us face traumatic circumstances at
times.
When we do, let us cause our voices to ring
with praises to our Lord God!
Acts 16:26 says, "And suddenly there was a
great earthquake, so that the foundations of
the prison were shaken: and immediately ALL
the doors were opened, and every one's
bands were LOOSED!"
In the Christian, mercy AND judgment have
already been RECEIVED!
"Sing it over and over again;
Christ receiveth sinful men;
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men!"
