DAILY DEVOTION

HI!

Little Milly, from the city, went to visit with her cousin Mary
in the country.

She came home telling her parents all about the horses,
cows, chickens, etc.

"But the FUNNIEST thing that happened while I was there,"
she continued, "was when a little pig backed into the
electric fence and cause a short circus!"

SCRIPTURE______________________________

Acts 17:26-28
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to
dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the
times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel
after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain
also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

THOUGHT________________________________

LIGHT from the WORD.

Did you ever stop to think how God has placed everything
and everyone in certain places by His providential care?

God has made us ALL "of one blood" (verse 26 above).
We are all dust and breath of God, and the same red blood
runs in all our veins.

God has also determined our "times" (verse 26 above).
Solomon says in Ecclesiastes 3:2 that there is a
"time to be born, and a time to die."
God knows the time of our birth and the time of our death.

And most importantly, DURING the life God gives us,
He has made Himself AVAILABLE when we seek after Him,
for He is "not far from every one of us." (verse 27 above)

It is within the providential care of God that we all
"..live, and move, and have our being.." (verse 28 above).

God has given us life: "...in Him we live."
God has given us ability to do: " ...in Him..we move."
God has given us possession of our person: "..in Him
...we have our being."

God has given us who we are, and He has made Himself
available to help us be His people, living for His glory.

Don't run off by yourself and cause a "short circus!"
Live "IN HIM!"

Love ya!
