"MADE NIGH"
At the supper table one evening, little Johnny
was gobbling down his food.
He was in a hurry to get back to the TV.
Dad said, "Son, don't eat so fast. You are
making yourself to be a pig! Do you know
what a pig is?"
Little Johnny answered, "Yes, Dad. A pig
is a hog's little boy."

Spiritually speaking, men only produce
"pigs!"
We are sinners all, and none of us are
capable of saving ourselves.
We can certainly save no one else.
But Christ came!
He is God incarnate who welcomes all we
"pigs" to come near to Him and be washed
clean, and have privileges!
One of those privileges is to speak freely.
Jesus is a "Friend Who sticks closer than
a brother." (Prov. 18:24)
We need never fear His upraiding for our
stupidity.
We can open the contents of our heart to
Him freely.
Another special privilege is that Jesus
UNDERSTANDS!
God's Holy Spirit is ALWAYS with those who
have surrendered to Christ as Lord.
He knows our joys, our sorrows, our concerns.
His sincerity is tempered with sympathy, and He
listens for our inward thoughts rather than our
outward expressions.
In sincere thanksgiving and prayer we are
"made nigh by the blood of Christ!"
