Titus 3:8
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm
constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful
to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable
unto men.

THOUGHT____________________________________

Christians, we are to “maintain good works.”

Too often we are so involved in the doing (or saying) that we forget
to put a “check” on what we do or say.

Christ did not die on the cross for us to have loose tongues!
Titus 2:14 says, “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us
from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people,
zealous of good works.”

Christ died to provide a “peculiar” – or a beyond usual, special people!

At our conversion, God’s Holy Spirit is installed in our being.
We are to LISTEN to Him, and do the things God wants.
Phil 2:13 says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and
to do of his good pleasure.”

LISTEN to what you are about to say!
Will it bring “pleasure” to God?
Will it encourage others to live by faith in Christ?
Will it inspire other Christians?
Will it build up the body of Christ?

Phil 1:27
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ:

Remember to “maintain good works!”

Love ya!
