THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A farmer was showing his visiting citydwelling friend
around his farm.
"Watch this!" he said.
He gave a whistle and his little dog came running from
the house, herded the cattle into the corral, then latched
the gate with her paw.
"Wow, that's some dog -- what's her name?"
The forgetful farmer thought for a minute and then asked,
"What do you call that red flower that smells good and
has thorns on the stem?"
"That's it!" The farmer turned to his wife.
"Hey Rose, what do we call this dog?"
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works;
I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after
thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
LIGHT from the WORD.
Do you ever see a familiar face, and just can't recall the name?
Doesn't it BUG YA to know you FORGOT?
When we get so busy with daily life, sometimes we forget to
maintain a personal relationship with our Lord.
One way to cure that is to constantly "meditate"
on what God has done in our lives.
We can just sit alone and "muse", or become
absorbed in thought about what God has done for us.
Just think about how God SAVED you!
Think about how He has BLESSED you in so many ways!
And PRAISE Him!
DON'T FORGET to
be "thirsty" for His companionship!
