147 I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
LIGHT from the WORD.
The words "prevented" and "prevent" in the verses above
are derived from the Hebrew qadam.
That word means to precede, to hasten, and to meet.
Rise early and precede the sunrise with prayer and Bible study.
Then, close the day, before sleeping, with the same.
In Jesus is the beginning and ending of all things.
Let meeting with Jesus BEGIN and END your day!
THEN, you will know His presence ALL day!
I was in the doctor's office the other day for a 6-month checkup.
The doctor asked if I had stress and anxiety.
I said, "No. I have JESUS."
Do you feel stress and anxiety during your day?
Here's a simple way to relieve it.
MEET with Jesus before starting your day, and
MEET with Jesus at the close of each day!
The ole devil uses the world to toss aggravation, anxiety,
turmoil, and trouble into your life each day.
This week, I have tried to stress the importance of being
in the presence of the Lord.
Being in His presence at the beginning and ending of each
day will help OVERCOME the things the devil throws in your way!
MEET with Jesus DAILY!
