THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Men, you really oughta join the choir!
Rehearsals are only once per week.
Which means that for those few hours, you will significantly reduce your risk of contracting tendinitis
from nonstop operation of a television remote control or computer mouse.

For the fitness buffs, singing in the Choir is not only heart healthy, it's soul healthy.
But there are no monthly membership fees, and it's a lot easier on the knees than jogging.

Choir rehearsal lasts half as long as a professional football game, but is at least twice as satisfying.
(Don't worry, though, the rehearsals are on Wednesday, not Monday Nights.)

THOUGHT____________________________________

Paul had just been stoned, and dragged out of the city and left for dead.
But here we find him up, traveling "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith."

Paul had learned a valuable lesson, "that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."

And Paul had joined the "choir" of those who proclaim the glory of Christ.

Christian, confirm that you are a "disciple" of Jesus.
As such, remember that the "disciple is not above his Master." (Luke 6:40)
He suffered in this world, and so shall we!
There is "much tribulation" in this world.

And the door to His glorious heaven opens only upon our death!
(Unless He returns first.)

Also, "confirming" that you are a "disciple" of Jesus gives you HOPE!
You are NOT alone!
He has promised to NEVER leave you!

His grace supports and sustains!
His example teaches endurance!
His love fills our hearts!

Join the "choir" of those who proclaim the glory of Christ!
Help build up and support fellow Christians!

Love ya!
