THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A man and his wife of 30 years were driving down the road.
She was in the passenger seat, he was driving.
She asked, "Honey, do you remember when we were dating?"
He said, "Yes."
She asked, "Do you remember how we used to sit close together?"
He said, "Honey, I haven't moved."
...Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
God's love hasn't moved since the beginning.
He came to Adam and Eve after they sinned.
He called them to Him.
He drew them with His magnetic love.
God's love is expressed through Jesus Christ.
His love is expressed in the manger at Bethlehem and the cross of Calvary.
He came to be one of us; to make atonement for our sins, to offer His forgiveness and guide us to His eternal home.
God's greatest present to mankind is His presence.
God's love is everlasting.
His love endures our weakness, failure and ineptness.
His love will endure throughout all eternity.
God's love is implanted in those who surrender to Christ.
John 1:12 says, "...as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
Ephesians 1:13 says, "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"
As you wrap your presents for Christmas this year,
be reminded of God's presence in Jesus Christ.
