THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Growing "old" is mandatory.
Growing "up" is optional.
2 Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Light from the Word.
Both grace from God and the knowledge of Jesus are like the
shower or the bathtub.
They are always there, but one must actually enter to receive
In order to "grow" in grace and knowledge of Jesus, one must OPEN:
the heart, the mind, and the Bible.
Let us not be content with the grace and knowledge of Christ which
brought us to conversion.
Let us GROW in Him, and for Him so we might bring more glory to Him!
Grace, in the Bible, is the unmerited favor of God.
It cannot be earned.
However, the closer to God we strive to be, the more grace He bestows.
Knowledge of Jesus is the manner in which we grow closer to God.
It is learning more about Him, and how we are to serve Him.
The more you grow in Christ, the more grace you will find in your life.
