Ever wonder about those people who spend $2.00 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water?

Try spelling Evian backwards: NA¤VE

1Thessalonians 4:16-18
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I suppose purchasing water to drink when you have bad water at home is not naive.
But trying to attain heaven is certainly naive.

The only way to receive heaven is to first receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. There's a tremendous reward for yielding oneself to Christ and becoming His servant on this earth.

One day, believers will see Jesus in the atmosphere. They'll hear the "shout" from His lips calling believers to join him in the clouds!

The "trump of God" is symbolic of the trumpet used in the Old Testament to call believers to the temple for worship. When Jesus appears at this time, believers will see and hear Him calling them to come and worship Him forever without the hindrance of sin.

The key to seeing and being a part of this event is to be "in Christ." Those who have died "in Christ" will rise to meet Him first. Those who are "alive" and "remain" in Christ will rise to meet Him next.

This is a comforting thought to those who are "in Christ!" For believers, there will be a day when God will allow us to defy gravity!

Then we will be purged from all sin and changed to the full likeness of our Lord and Savior (1Corinthians 13:12).

What a great day we have to look forward to!

Love ya,
