Today's Devotion:
"NATURAL THINGS"
The sun rises and sets, and continues in
that cycle.
The wind blows from one direction, then
another.
Rivers empty to the sea, and the sea
empties to the earth to make rivers.
And "one generation" lives and dies, and
another takes its place.
The examples seem to outline NATURAL
things that happen.

Ecc. 1:4-7
4 One generation passeth away, and another
generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
5 The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down,
and hasteth to his place where he arose.
6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth
about unto the north; it whirleth about continually,
and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full;
unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither
they return again.

Life is full of NATURAL cycles.
The eye labors all through life, but is never
full of seeing.
The ear labors all through life, and is never
full of hearing.
Even when a man lives and seems to accomplish
much, he dies, and is soon forgotten.
We don't always understand NATURAL things;
but, we USE them.
Plant a seed in the earth, and when it DIES
It springs up a plant.
It is May 1, and the flowers are blooming.
The roses in my yard have blossomed 3 times already.
The trees have budded and are adding growth.
Those are NATURAL PHYSICAL things.
God created the world to SHOW these NATURAL
THINGS!
Isaiah said, "For as the earth bringeth forth her bud,
and as the garden causeth the things that are sown
in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause
righteousness and praise to spring forth before all
nations." (Is. 61:11)
God has planted ONE "SEED" of righteousness in
the earth - JESUS CHRIST.
From that one Seed, millions of plants have grown -
CHRISTIANS.
Through those Christians, God has caused
"righteousness and praise to spring forth before
all the nations."
To live exhibiting righteousness and pouring out
praise for our Lord Jesus, is part of the
SPIRITUAL NATURAL things.
Christians, God has created in YOU a NEW
being. (2Cor 5:17)
Let the SPIRITUAL NATURAL things flow from
you.
