"Not WANTING To KNOW"
The boy had not brought home good grades.
He was "grounded" - restricted to home and
study.
A friend asked him to attend the State Fair.
So, he asked his dad.
Dad said, "Son, you KNOW you are
grounded."
"Yes sir," said the young boy, "But I don't
WANT to know!"

Jesus had told them many times that He would
die, be resurrected, and ascend to His Father.
(See Matt. 16:21, Luke 9:22, Luke 18:31-32)
They KNEW that by Jesus having made those
previous statements.
But they didn't WANT to know!
The question for us is: am I ready to go as
He went?
"If any man will dome after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross daily, and
follow me." (Luke 9:23)
In order to be truly saved, one must die to
SELF, and be willing to live FOR Jesus!
And, THAT is the reason why most folk never
come to Biblical salvation;
they KNOW, but they don't WANT to know!
They are not willing to yield SELF to live FOR
Jesus.
"The stone which the builders refused is
become the head stone of the corner."
(Ps. 118:22)
Let Jesus become the corner stone of your
life.
Let HIM build your spiritual life-house
on HIS foundation!
