THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Matt 14:28-31 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

That word “kept” is translated from the Greek phroureo (pronounced froo-reh’-oh), which means:
to keep under guard, to post guards at the gate, to constantly watch over.

Christians are constantly guarded by the Lord “unto salvation.”
The salvation spoken of here is that in glory, which is “ready to be revealed in the last time.”

From the time we surrender to Jesus, until the time we are fully placed in His eternal presence in Heaven,
we are constantly guarded by the Lord!

That is indeed GOOD NEWS!
Now – PAY ATTENTION!

We are guarded “by the power of God through faith.”
The same power which spoke the universe into being guards YOU!
The same power which raised Jesus from the grave guards YOU!

The exertion of this power is God’s intent toward ALL those who are saved.
The receipt of this power is “through faith!”

Faith is believing, having assurance of, clinging to.

Get this vision believer:
God diligently stands guard daily by His Almighty power, to deliver you from EVERY trial!
That’s His JOB!

YOUR job is to trust, cling to Him, and allow His power to WORK in you!

“Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.”

Peter learned that lesson.
Have you?

Love ya!
