THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
"The questions before our country are problems of progress to
higher standards; they are not the problems of degeneration.
They demand thought and they serve to quicken the conscience
and enlist our sense of responsibility for their settlement.
And that responsibility rests upon you, my countrymen, as much
as upon those of us who have been selected for office."
(Hebert C. Hoover, upon his inauguration to the presidency.)
Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin is a reproach to any people.
There is no doubt that the moral fiber of our government has
degenerated to the point of heathenistic actions.
And, the fact is due partly to the lack of action by "countrymen."
In the USA, we spend more money on gambling than groceries.
We spend more money on alcohol than on all religious activities and
Our State Department is using hundreds of millions of tax dollars
to build and rebuild mosques. (Violates 1st amendment!)
And, in the last year, we spent over $1B on abortions!
WHERE is the outrage from the citizenry?
The question is: What are you and I doing to restore moral fiber
in our country?
We, as Christian citizens need to "bless" this country in our
conversation and action!
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted:
but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
