When a child is born, parents are
considering how to teach them
the priniciples which will lead
them in life.
But, the child is teaching the
parents how to LOVE
UNCONDITIONALLY!

Deut. 6:4-7
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God
is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thine heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I
command thee this day, shall be
in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them
diligently unto thy children, and
shalt talk of them when thou
sittest in thine house, and
when thou walkest by the way,
and when thou liest down,
and when thou risest up.

Parenting is like holding three
full-time jobs:
Being a husband or wife,
Being an emplyee or employer,
and, being a parent.
I was watching yesterday as
a man was teaching his son to
play golf.
The boy was full of energy,
bounding from the golf cart,
ready to hit the golf ball.
He asked his dad about which
club to use.
The boy had already learned
to stand well, think about the
swing and then make the swing.
And, everytime the boy did
that, I saw his dad SMILING!
Seeing that, brought back some
precious memories of my dad
teaching me to play golf!
It also reminded me of my
parents teaching me to study
the bible, pray, be in church.
Pay attention to what
Deut. 6:7 says!
TEACH them the Bible EVERY
time you are with them --
whether they like it or not!
It's sort of like feeding a
baby.
You put the plate in front of
them.
They strew it everywhere!
But they get a little IN them!
